Decanted Sample of La Nuit De L'Homme Bleu Electrique by Yves Saint Laurent

I always read about how Bleu Electrique was an evolution of LNDL but man were they wrong, this seems to be a watered down version of the original. Its smoother but at the cost of the spicy hit LNDL is known for. Honestly Im glad too bc its rare in my region

This is a great flanker for the classic LNDL that adds a bit of personality. Shame it's discontinued.

I wanted to try this after hearing all the hype on this discontinued fragrance. To me, it smells very similar to the OG, I don't really get the "blue" freshness this is supposed to have. Fortunately, I like the original LNDLH, and like it, this is a great fall/spring and evening scent. It is worth checking out but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I think this is quite versatile. Very pleasant an mass appealing. I think it has been discontinued.

After trying a sample from Decant House, I scrambled to find a reasonably priced bottle. Unfortunately, YSL has discontinued this. I was able to find a new bottle through a third party seller.

That’s all to say this: the scent is so amazing I searched high and low for more. It’s so smoothy and musky that it’s almost as easy to wear as a freshy. Highly recommend

If you are familiar with the classic scent then this won't come as a shock to you. It smells like the classic version but it does have a noticeable "blue" quality to it which takes the original, which to me was a cold weather staple, and brings it into warm weather territory. Good stuff.

I almost fell for the hype, but I'm so glad I sampled it first. Yes, it's a "blue" take on La Nuit de Lhomme with slightly increased longevity (plus 2 hours from the original's 4), but to my nose, I don't think it works well. Smells kinda barbershop-y to me, which is not what I was expecting. Being honest, I'd rather wear the original than this. But it's definitely worth a try if you're debating on buying it.

Great, a fresh version of La Nuit De L'Homme

Loved it. Blue version of the original. Longevity could be better but still love it.  

Very cardamom focused. Smells the most similar to the OG  La Nuit De L'Homme out of all the flankers. I don’t pick up a blue vibe from the fragrance itself. I think people may be influenced by the color of the bottle and the name. Overall, a very solid scent.

Finally got to smell this one and it looked like decanthouse was the only site with a reasonable price that had it. The scent itself isn't as good as youtubers hype it up to be and performance was average or below average.

Reminds me a lot like those vintage pop sodas you would smell at a candy store, but in a good way.  Smells like the original La Nuit, but with a fresher, sweeter twist. Definitely try on skin before buying a full bottle.

Oh man, I never tried the original la nuit de l'homme but this was so good. Sucks that it is very hard to find and was discontinued. I heard the longevity was abysmal in the og but this easily lasted 6-7 hours for me so I might hunt down a bottle.

Unfortunately, this stuff is hard to get. The original is very similar and easy to find, but it's less performant. If you can get this one at a good deal, it's 100% worth it.

I enjoyed this fragrance overall, but didn't find it live up to the insane hype.  Yes it smells similar to the OG La Nuit de Lhomme, and yes it has decent performance, but i find the original to smell better.  I personally bought the orinigal over this.  IMNO buy a sample before the full bottle.

It smells really good. I’ve never smelled the og La Nuit de Lhomme, but this smells amazing to me. Good date night

Blue take of the original. Longer lasting than the original but still not the best. Very hard to find now unfortunately.

Classic, masculine, and charming. Almost like a minty forest, with a subtle chemical smell--but wonderful regardless.

A Blue version of La Nuit. Nice scent. very similar  to original. Very expensive and hard to get. Lasted almost 9 hours on me and drew some copliments

Great twist to the lhomme line , alot of hype in this one but all I can say is it was good.

I did enjoy this but the geranium note can be overwhelming, not worth hunting it down now that its hard to find the US

Essentially a slightly “blue” take on the original La Nuit. The added freshness comes with some added longevity. Performance isn’t great, but adequate for nights out. Definitely a great scent that could be blind bought for retail. However, if you have to pay resell prices for it, I’d recommend sampling first.

This is my favorite night time date fragrance. A better version of the original, it is dark and spicy but with a bit more life in it due to a fresher opening. Longer lasting than the original

This is such a classy & silky smooth scent. It's so pleasant & inoffensive that I feel like 99% of people will at the very least just like this one. I personally love it. I mainly get sweet lavender mixed with spicy cardamom & a hint of ginger. It's just a simple & well balanced fragrance with just enough uniqueness that I believe you could easily wear it almost anywhere, all year round. Lasted about 10 hours for me but the projection did die down to a lighter skin scent after around 5 hours. Highly recommend checking this one out. Especially if you already love the lavender & cardamom notes in YSL La Nuit de L'Homme.

I can slightly smell the DNA of the base fragrance but this flanker tried to add elegant blue notes to it. It's nothing to do risk out and buy for sure, especially for resale. Definitely get a sample.

This smells like a great mixture of la nuit de l'homme with a great fresh blue twist. Performance is not as great as I would have excepted  

Love the scent

I kept hearing that this was absolutely amazing. I agree, it's a great fragrance and something I would certainly buy as an every day wear, but I think it's overhyped.

This is pretty much a no brainer over the original La Nuit. It brings a bit of warmth to the fragrance which pairs so nicely with the lavender. An absolute must try/have for anyone who has enjoyed the original.

It's no secret everybody loves La Nuit De L'Homme. I was hesitant to try any flanker of it but I was definitely pleasantly surprised! I think this is the first flanker I like more than the original!

Love this stuff.  Originally, I couldn't tell a difference between this and the original la nuit, but as it dries down it feels more like a traditional blue fragrance (i.e. bleu de chanel, sauvage, etc). Like this original, its a solid option anytime.

It's VERY similar to the original la nuit fragrance and it's really not a bad thing.  That DNA is really special and I'm now on my second bottle of the og la nuit.  It may be just my sniffer, but I can't tell the vast differences between this one and the original but can smell some slight differences.  Great overall fragrance and highly recommend this one OR the original.

Bleu electrique smelled awesome right off the bat, but I feel like it faded fairly quickly. I only ordered a very small sample. I want to try it again, so I ordered a larger sample of it to test out its durability. The wife loves it, though. It is on my list of possibles, for sure.
