    Wasn’t sure what to make of JPG Le Male at first. Right off the bat, it’s incredibly potent, sweet, and creamy. I didn’t count it out immediately and kept trying for a few days. What I found is after the first 15-30min the potency lays off, but it’s still strong enough that people will know where you were after you’ve left the room. It mixes very well with my skin and I fell in love with it. It’s creamy, has lavender hints, the sweetness isn’t overwhelming on the dry down and has a spicy hit. You catch some ambery wood scent that mixes well with sweetness. I tried JPG Elixir and I much prefer Le Male. It has become my new fall/winter scent.

    Great scent but I prefer Elixir

    I thought this fragrance was amazing the first time I smelled it. It's very well made and balanced but... After smelling Elixir it feels incomplete compared to that.  It's still a great scent and if you find the honey sweetness of Elixir too strong, this is a strong choice.

    Sweet but not too sweet

    Ya it’s very sweet as expected, but if you like sweetness it’s a wonderfully great sweetness I still have to try JGP le male Elixir that could tone down the sweetness a bit, but as someone that loves sweetness and woodiness this ticks all the boxes.

    One of the best in the line. It has a nice mix of vanilla, cinnamon, and lavender. Really good longevity and performance. Too sweet for my liking.

    Bubblegum sweetness with a blast of lavender and spices in the opening and dies down into a nice vanilla cinnamon base. Performance and project are good. Honestly, pretty good blind buy if you like vanilla fragrance.

    What can I say I got a sample as I was excited about this offering. I'm underwhelmed with this one. Now I won't say that it isn't a good scent I'm just going to say i was expecting more. I'd give it between a 3 and a 4 out of 5.

    Very pleasant and relaxed scent. Perfect for everyday wear in cool weather. Not overly sweet but doesn't have a very long lasting performance on my skin. I can still notice the scent around me for at least 2-3 hours but it dies down quite close after that period of time. It's certainly one you can rely on for simple pleasant scents but I wouldn't use it as any kind of centerpiece or attention getter.

    The scent is very masculine and mass appealing. It’s pretty sweet with some spice, but I’m giving it a 4 because not everyone will like it. In general most people will love it.

    The Modern Man

    A very modern masculine fragrance. It starts very warm and spicy from the cardamom and dries into a powdery sweet vanilla smell. The iris is definitely prominent but not overly powdery that it smells like makeup or feminine. It is also very versatile, and I can see it being a signature scent during the colder months.

    What I get from this is:

    Spicy, sweet, lavender, iris, powder. I much prefer it over Ultra Male. While still sweet, it’s not nearly as sweet as Ultra Male.

    I’d say this is a cold weather scent. Wouldn’t make sense for high heat.

    This is one of my favorite fragrances at the moment! It lasts very long, stayed on a shirt about 4 or 5 days after I sprayed it. If you want a vanilla based date night/club fragrance, you have to try!

    I was expecting this scent to be heavy on the sweetness but yeah, it's pretty sweet. I feel as though they may have taken the vanilla note in the original Le Male a little too seriously because that is the majority of what I smell moreso than even the warm spicy notes which feels like it gets emulsified into the sweet vanilla. I'm tempted to give this a star lower rating because in all honesty it smells like a basic gourmand fragrance, however the lavender and woodsy note works quite well and I wish they increased them a bit more but I guess it then would've smelled like a basic warm men's fragrance at that point. I like vintage Le Male a little more than this and I would wear Noir Extreme any day over this.

    Essentially a modern, darker take on the original Le Male. Longevity seems good. Sample price is very reasonable. Overall, I recommend trying.

    This is another winner.  It is a great vanilla scent and has a masculine warmth to it. Smells great, and I am not sure it lasts long but it could just be that I am not picking it up on myself after wearing it all day.  This is a great scent though and I love it.

    This is a very good cool weather fragrance. Very warm and sweet with a nice and noticeable vanilla undertone. If you are looking for a safe and likable fragrance for fall and winter, this is a good pick.

    Of the line, I've only smelled the original Le Male and Ultra Male, but this one has them both beat. It modernizes the original, but keeps the best parts of the original DNA.  Safe for the office or a night out.
