Decanted Sample of Dylan Blue Pour Homme by Versace

One of the better freshies for the price. Great value.

This is a very basic shower gel/body wash type of fresh scent that won't offend but also won't get you noticed other than a quick 'oh you smell kinda nice.' Don't get me wrong it's a very pleasant scent but in a very fade into the background kind of way. If you want something that no one will complain about you wearing in an office type setting this is a safe choice. longevity was pretty good for a fresh type scent, lasted 6-7 hours easily.

If you ever see a review of a blue fragrance from me, you're going to notice a common theme, which is that I am not drawn to blues at all. So, keep in mind while reading this that blue is not my cup of tea, though I can be objective about the fact that the scents aren't bad. I can even see why folks love them. They just aren't for me compared with more "fresh laundry" iris style fragrances like Prada L'Homme. I see L'Homme the same way many see Bleu De Chanel or Versace Dylan Blue... a versatile staple of my arsenal. So even though I don't dig blue stuff, I do get the attraction.

Comparing Dylan Blue to other blues I've tried (BDC, YSL Y EDP, Sauvage, Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir), I must say that Dylan Blue has the best opening note. In find it refreshing and immediately attractive. But, as is this case with many blues, it dries down to become this aquatic/marine fresh scent that just bugs me.  If you like the marine quality of, say, Allure Homme Sport or Eau Extreme, I think you may like Dylan Blue more than Bleu De Chanel or Sauvage. Dylan Blue is definitely worth testing against the other blues, especially at its price point!

This was a good fragrance. I really liked the citrus notes and the fact that is less expensive than Blue de Chanel. Although they do not smell that similar, they do have comparable citrus notes. But the dry down is definitely different. Nevertheless, would still recommend this fragrance for spring/summer

A simple out of the shower scent for some what cheap. Not the best smelling. Good performance.

It’s a great blue fragrance. Versatile and actually good projection. Definitely worth a try!

Nothing special but that’s what’s to be expected decent performance and silage but if you have more cash to spend I’d go for a different blue fragrance

It's a very masculine shower gel with a touch of sweetness. Crowd pleasing and got a compliment from my cousin while trying out the decant at the gym. Can't go wrong with this!

This is a "cooler" style of blue from versace. I love it and eros, for very different reasons. While eros is a fancy, elegant smell, Dylan is a hip, stylish kind of fragrence. Absolutely love them both.

This fragrance is a pretty good one for warmer weather.

Its not bad but it reminds me of a shower soap, this could be worn all year imo cant go wrong with trying it.

It's a powerful and masculine fragrance. It starts with lively citrus notes and adds sophistication with violet and black pepper. The lasting base of patchouli and incense suits any occasion, giving you a confident and stylish vibe.

Solid for everyday wear

Very similar to the original - I'd say dry down is the same.  But the opening is much more "blue" if that makes sense. Think ocean and ambroxan.

I really like Eros, but this is a great spring/summer alternative that gives a lighter fragrance.  Lots of compliments, and it is not too expensive compared to others in this lane.

Ambroxan, aqua and smoke. Lasts longer on my clothes than on skin, 4-5h on my skin, 7-8h on my clothes. Sillage isn't excessive in it's projection, just enough to get noticed by those around you without offending.

Excellent amber,  citrus fragrance. Opens with grapefruit, bergamot. Then the mid of ambroxan, spices. Dry down of musk and tonka. Highly recommended!

Blue scent likely appealing to younger individuals. Good longevity. Mass appealing with good compliment factor. Doesn’t smell too expensive, but the price is right. Sampling isn’t really necessary, but you might prefer other blue scents better, so may as well try this one for a great price.

A solid scent that could be an alternative to sauvage. Less peppery than sauvage. Easy to like scent.

Somehow I had never smelled this, and when I did, I realized I wasn't missing much. This blue frag is more basic than any of the others out there and just doesn't do anything for me.

Compared to Versace Signature, Dylan Blue is just as good but with more woodsy & spicy notes.  It's a very good Fall/Winter fragrance that is sure to give you great longevity and performance.
