Decanted Sample of Gris Charnel by BDK Parfums

I love the woody fig with milky tea and warm spices. This perfume is really a vibe.  It’s sitting inside all nice and toasty while it’s cold and rainy outside.

This is a definite buy for me. I love this tea scent. Very comforting to me. So smooth. Unique. Cant wit to try the extrait version

Gris Charnel smells like something I've come across before, and I get the feeling it's either a blue scent or another mass-appealing scent that just doesn't appeal to me. This is kind of odd, as the notes include iris, sandalwood and tonka bean all of which I like. It may be the vetiver middle note, as I do not enjoy vetiver much at all. Still, Charnel adds a twist of fig and black tea that becomes more prominent during dry-down. Unfortunately, the scents I don't enjoy stand out much more, so this one is a hard pass for me. I could see folks really digging this one, though, since the major parts of the scent remind me of mass-appealing fragrances that I think most could be find of.

Fantastic. Fig scent thats a little feminine but ill wear it anyway.  

Sweet fig and black tea. More feminine than expected, but a gorgeous and elegant scent.

This is an interesting one. It smells fantastic, but I cannot see myself wearing it. My nose says it leans pretty feminine.

It is rather intense the first few hours as well. Fig, Iris, lots going on. I like it better once it dries down.

Fantastic scent that’s perfect for fall. Solid projection and lasts about 8 hours. It smells expensive and high class on your skin. While unisex, I definitely think it leans feminine.
